2 types of packages for Rolling Benches

Tough packages are very important for the safety of products. Especially in global trading ,when goods travelling thousands of miles cross the ocean or land.

There are 2 types of packages for rolling benches : Wooden boxes and Pallets

Wooden boxes for fragile items and pallets for tough parts.

We always use wooden boxes to pack the flood trays , AKA, infinite tray.

Flood trays are made of ABS , AKA, plastic . Obviously , we must provide comprehensive protection on them.  Or it can get damaged or deformed easily when there is other goods piling or compressing the trays.

Wooden boxes package is more expensive than pallets , about 58 usd per box.

Also , it can’t be made from solid wood . Or you have to do fumigation process on them ,which costs more money and time. So we always use plywood boxes

Meanwhile , there are some tough parts in the rolling benches . Such as , longitudinal beam , transverse beam , LED trellis , Leg frame ...etc . They are not afraid of the piling or compression by other goods . So we often pack them in pallets . Pallet is about  1/2 costs of wooden boxes .

1 more thing , No matter wooden boxes of pallets , you can’t place them too long outdoor facing the rain. Because if the wooden box or pallets soaked in the rain for too long , like 20 or 30 days. The packages would age and become brittle .

Such things happened on one of our American clients before . Our goods had been piled at our factory yard for around 1 month. There were rain and snow. As a result , some packages are broken after it reach our forwarder’s warehouse in China . We have to ask our forwarder to prepare new packages for them before it start the long trip to USA.
