Geomembrane (geomembrana) is a tough plastic liner with High Strength , Strong Stress Crack resistance , Fantastic Chemical Resistance , Amazing Resistance to high or low Temperature , Ultraviolet .Oxidation and Long Lasting . HDPE geomembrane is with strong tensile strengh ≥ 25 MPa and very low impermeability coefficient ≤ 10⁻¹² cm/s. It works great in strong acids, alkali , oils environment and temperature ranging from -70°C and to 70°C. The lifespan is over 50 years.
This is the reason that it’s widely used as liner for all kinds of anti-seepage applications, such as Irrigation pond , Shrimp or Fish Pond , Landfill , Biogas Digester , Mining , Waster Water Treatment , Water Tank ...etc
As experienced geomembrane manufacturer since 2008 , MASPOWER produce high class quality grade of geomembrane liner with different material types : HDPE PVC LLDPE , of course with different characteristics and applications. Among them , HDPE geomembrane is the most popular and commonly used. People also call it HDPE liner . Here are some general features of those liners :
Life-span : HDPE (over 50 years) > LLDPE (30-50 years) > PVC (10-20 years, affected by plasticizer migration)
Tensile Strength: HDPE > LLDPE > PVC
Anti UV and Anti-Oxidation: HDPE > LLDPE > PVC
Compliance : HDPE ≈ LLDPE < PVC
Environmental Performance: HDPE and LLDPE are more recyclable, while PVC, due to its chlorine and plasticizer content, is difficult to recycle and less environmentally friendly .
Textured geomembrane liner also available. It's ideally suitable for projects with steep slopes because the textured surface bring much more friction on the contact surface.
Both HDPE and LLDPE liner are up to top quality Standard : GRI-GM13 GM17 ,which is the best quality grade in the world. Our PVC liner meets GB standard , the best quality grade in China.
We also wholesale geomembrane liners with different thickness and Sizes :
0.5mm 0.75mm 1mm 1.25mm 1.5mm 2mm 2.5mm 3.0mm
Or
20mils 30mils 40mils 50mils 60mils 80mils 100mils 120mils
.....
The liners can be produced as 6m 7m 8m .... wide and 50m 70m 100m... long per roll. Here are thicknesses matches corresponding applications :
0.5mm 0.75mm or 20mils 30mils HDPE liners for fish shrimp pond
1mm or 40mils liners for large reservoir , dam and landscaping lake
1mm 1.2mm 1.5mm or 40mils 50mils 60mils for landfill
1.2mm 1.5mm or 50mils 60mils for Biogas Digester
1.5mm 2mm or 60mils 80mils for mining
MASPOWER supplies different thicknesses of geomembrane liners , different material types ( HDPE ,PVC ,LLDPE ) and High Class quality grade . We can also make the liner 2m 3m 4m 6m 7m 8m wide and 50m 80m 100m... long as you wish so that the liner can fit your project to the largest extent.
Both HDPE and LLDPE liner are up to top quality Standard : GRI-GM13 GM17 ,which is the best quality grade in the world. Our PVC liner meets GB standard , the best quality grade in China. We can also produce virgin raw materials mixed with recycled ones, which is high cost-performance. It’s suitable for irrigation pond or aquaculture pond.We always recommend suitable quality grade liner to clients based on the projects , so that the project safety is guaranteed and budgets spent wisely .

(1) Machine direction (MD) and cross machine direction (XMD) average values should be on the basis of 5 test specimens each direction Yield elongation is calculated using a gage length of 33 mm Break elongation is calculated using a gage length of 50 mm (2) The yield stress used to calculate the applied load for the SP-NCTL test should be the manufacturer’s mean value via MQC testing. (3) Other methods such as D 1603 (tube furnace) or D 6370 (TGA) are acceptable if an appropriate correlation to D 4218 (muffle furnace) can be established. (4) Carbon black dispersion (only near spherical agglomerates) for 10 different views: 9 in Categories 1 or 2 and 1 in Category 3 (5) The manufacturer has the option to select either one of the OIT methods listed to evaluate the antioxidant content in the geomembrane. (6) It is also recommended to evaluate samples at 30 and 60 days to compare with the 90 day response. (7) The condition of the test should be 20 hr. UV cycle at 75C followed by 4 hr. condensation at 60C. (8) Not recommended since the high temperature of the Std-OIT test produces an unrealistic result for some of the antioxidants in the UV exposed samples. (9) UV resistance is based on percent retained value regardless of the original HP-OIT value. |
