Impact-Resistant and Corrosion-Resistant HDPE Geomembrane for Mining Heap Leaching ,Tailings

1. Acid and Alkali Resistance: In seepage control projects in chemical plants, electroplating plants, and tailings leaching plants, geomembranes are often exposed to various acidic and alkaline solutions. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembranes are resistant to most acidic and alkaline solutions at room temperature, but their resistance to hot, concentrated oxidizing acids is limited.

2. Metal Ion Resistance: Water often contains certain metal ions, and the concentrations of these metal ions in the media used in seepage control projects in tailings leaching plants and electroplating plants are often very high. HDPE geomembranes for mining heap leaching must be produced using specialized geomembrane resins such as TR400 and TR131.


3. Impact-Resistant HDPE Rough-Surface Geomembrane with Pre-Welded Edges. HDPE geomembranes used in environmental protection and anti-seepage projects, such as landfills and tailings ponds, often experience slope landslides. This impacts both the project progress and quality, and the design and application of HDPE geomembranes for slope anti-seepage. To address this issue, rough-surfaced geomembranes were first adopted abroad. However, it was discovered that some roughened geomembranes (destructively roughened) compromised their overall performance and could not be welded directly. The seams needed to be ground, thinned, and welded, resulting in severely insufficient weld strength and the potential for leakage.
